A variety of kits are available for purchase; however, complete schematics and PCB designs are available as well if you want to source the parts yourself.
Capacitor part codes
Good run-down on how to read capacitor codes.
Bowden's Hobby Circuits
Schematics for many different circuits.
TI Logic Data Book
A pdf of many different chips in many different logic families, 700 pages in all. A great reference.
ALLDATASHEET
Datasheets for many different chips.
About the differences between the TTL families
Some good advice regarding TTL and CMOS interfacing.
The basics of integrated circuits
Good information on the difference between TTL, AC, ACT, HC, and HCT families.
Play-Hookey Website
Sections on computers, digital logic, DC electronic theory, HTML, op amps, analog circuits, and optics.

LM4752
TO-220 single component stereo amplifier. Throw in some resistors and caps, and you have a thermal protected amp.
The Guru's Lair
Don Lancaster's site. Go there and buy the TTL and CMOS cookbooks. I won't even try and take the Amazon link on that one. :) Tip o' the hat to Don for writing my most-used book, the TTL Cookbook.

Quite a few parts. Good homebrew supplies.
Mouser Electronics
They have many more connectors, bulbs, and discrete components than JDR.
Micro Logic Micro Charts
Do any of you remember these? They are plastic charts with summary information and diagrams. I have one for the Z80 and 8048 that I use that are from the early 80s. You can still buy the Z80 chart, as well as the 8048!
PCB
Printed Circuit Board program for Linux.
Top Bulb
I bought some bulbs for my EPROM eraser at this place for $7.50 each. My eraser uses G4T5 bulbs. You have to take the bulb out and look at the part number. Don't rely on what the eraser manufacturer tells you the part number is.
Lessons In Electric Circuits
A free series of textbooks on the subjects of electricity and electronics.
